My name is Ivy. I recently discovered a love for editing videos. I started off on youtube just doing random vlogs about my days and hanging out with my friends but realized there was no story line to it. I was told I should try making cooking videos since all my friends always ask me how I make a certain dish and that is how I got into “Ivy’s Kitchen”. How did I get into cooking? Actually, I was never really into cooking. I was so intimidated by the kitchen because I wasn’t sure if the food would turn out delicious or if I would just totally waste my time and money by burning a dish. But I was forced to learn when I moved away for college. I decided to follow recipes. From there, I got to familiarized myself with different flavors of ingredients and decided to change recipes and create my own. I am not a chef, nor did I go to culinary school, I am a home cook. On my channel, I will show you how easy it is to make restaurant quality food at home and how to transform leftovers into another dish. Cooking does not have to be scary.
