Ahi Poke

It’s fishing season and I was gifted yellowfin tuna. I decided to make ahi poke out of it because poke is one of my favorite snacks from Hawaii. I wanted to keep the delicate flavors of the fish so I did not over power it with a bunch of seasonings and ingredients. I hope you try this recipe out and share it with your family and friends. If you love sushi, you will definitely love this dish!
Ingredients:
1 lb yellowfin tuna or blue fin tuna cut into 1/2 inch cubes.
2:1 ratio Shoyu to Sesame Oil (2 tbs to 1 tbs) – add more if needed.
Togarashi for spice
Garnish with Orange Tobiko or Masago, black sesame seeds and green onions.
