Peanut Dipping Sauce

Coming soon
Ingredients:
Vegetable Oil (about 2 tsp)
5 garlic cloves minced (about 1 tbs)
5 tbs Hoisin Sauce
1 tbsp chunky peanut butter
1 tbs sugar
1 tsp sambal oelek/sambal chili paste
6 tbs water
1/4 tsp sesame oil (optional)
Steps:
- Heat oil and saute garlic on low heat. Do not burn the garlic!
- Right before your garlic turn slightly golden brown, add the hoisin sauce, peanut butter, sugar, and chili paste. Mix until ingredients are well combined.
- Start off with 3 tbs of water and add this to your sauce. Mix for about a minute. If you want your sauce creamier, add more water. I added about 6 tbs. *****Depending on which peanut butter you use- you might need to use less water = chunky peanut butter vs. creamy peanut butter. – I don’t like a light colored sauce and I prefer mine on the thick side. The longer you let your sauce sit, the thicker it will get and may burn.******
- Once you get to your desired consistency, turn off heat, add sesame oil and mix. Serve sauce immediately.
