Looking for a quick meal to whip up. Try my sister’s Beef with Vegetable Stir Fry. This dish is simple to make and packed with a lot of flavor.
Here are the ingredients to serve 3:
- 1 lbs rib eye, fat trimmed & sliced very thin
- 1 bunch of asparagus, sliced into 2 inches from the top.
- 2 red bell peppers, seeded & cut into 2 inch chunks.
- 1 package of mushrooms
- 2 tablesppons oyster sauce
- 1 tsp of Asian chilli garlic sauce
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon sesame oil
- Peanut oil
- Combine oyster sauce, chilli garlic sauce, soy sauce, and sesame oil.
- Heat wok with oil.
- Add asparagus and bell peppers to wok. Flash fry for two minutes.
- Add mushrooms to veggies and cook. Once all veggies are cooked, set veggies aside.
- Add beef to wok and sear on both sides. Set beef aside when done and continue searing the other beef slices. You might have to sear the beef in batches.
- When all the beef is done cooking, add the veggies back to the pan. Pour the sauce over the veggies and meat and mix until sauce is heated through and ingredients are combined.
- Serve with rice.
