My niece wanted to share her favorite Alfredo dish with my viewers. I decided to change it up and add chicken, mushrooms, and broccolli. This dish is pretty quick and simple to make. If you love garlic, you will love this dish!
Ingredients:
- 1 package of bowtie pasta
- 1 head of broccoli florets
- Olive oil
- 1 package of button mushrooms sliced
- 4 chicken thighs chopped into bite sized pieces
- 3 cloves of garlic minced
- 2 sticks of unsalted butter
- 2 cups of heavy cream
- 4 cups of freshly grated parmesan cheese
- Salt and Pepper to taste
- Bring salted water to a boil and blanch broccoli for about 3-4 minutes.
- Take brocolli out and cook pasta in the same pot according to package instructions.
- Drain pasta and water.
- Heat up some oil and saute chicken until brown on all sides.
- Add the mushrooms and cook until soften.
- Melt the butter and add your garlic
- As soon as butter melts, add your cream and keep stiring until warmed thru.
- Add the cheese and mix.
- Add pasta and broccoli to the pot and mix.
Enjoy!!!!
