French Toast

I am not a donuts or pancakes for breakfast person but from time to time I do crave for something sweet. When I crave for something sweet in the morning, I love making french toast. This dish is so simple yet delicious. You just need a few ingredients to whip up this classic dish.

Ingredients:

  • 6 French Toast or Thick slices of bread.
  • 4 eggs
  • 1/2 cup of milk
  • 1/2 vanilla extract
  • pinch of salt
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 4 tbsp of unsalted butter
  • powdered sugar
  • Syrup

Directions:

  1. Mix eggs, milk, vanilla extract, salt and cinnamon together until well combined.
  2. On a griddle pan, melt butter.
  3. Dip bread in mixture and coat all sides.
  4. Place bread slices on pan and cook until golden brown on both sides (about 3 minutes per side).
  5. Sift powdered sugar on toast and drizzle with syrup.
