I am not a donuts or pancakes for breakfast person but from time to time I do crave for something sweet. When I crave for something sweet in the morning, I love making french toast. This dish is so simple yet delicious. You just need a few ingredients to whip up this classic dish.
Ingredients:
- 6 French Toast or Thick slices of bread.
- 4 eggs
- 1/2 cup of milk
- 1/2 vanilla extract
- pinch of salt
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 4 tbsp of unsalted butter
- powdered sugar
- Syrup
Directions:
- Mix eggs, milk, vanilla extract, salt and cinnamon together until well combined.
- On a griddle pan, melt butter.
- Dip bread in mixture and coat all sides.
- Place bread slices on pan and cook until golden brown on both sides (about 3 minutes per side).
- Sift powdered sugar on toast and drizzle with syrup.
Enjoy!
