Garlic Shrimp

Inspired by Giovanni’s Shrimp Truck in Hawaii, I just had to recreate this recipe at home. . If you love garlic and shrimp this recipe will be perfect for you. You can serve this as a meal, or just as an appetizer with a baguette.
Here is my recipe good to serve 3 people:
- 2 Lemons
- 3 garlic bulbs
- 4 tbsn. of unsalted butter
- Pinot Grigio
- Hawaiian Sea salt
- Fresh cracked black pepper
- Paprika
- Olive Oil
- 1 lb. of jumbo headless Shrimp deveined with skin on.
- Preheat your oven to 400 degrees.
- Cut off the top of two of the garlic bulbs.
- Place garlic bulbs on a foil. Drizzle with olive oil and salt. Wrap the garlic with the foil.
- Bake garlic in oven until softened (30-45 minutes).
- When garlic is done roasting, cool your garlic. Once garlic has cooled, squeeze out the garlic onto a bowl and mash with olive oil.
- Minse 10 cloves of garlic.
- Heat up oil with butter. Once melted add minced garlic and saute.
- Once fragrant, add wine and cook until reduced by half.
- Once reduce, add roasted garlic, salt, pepper, and paprika.
- Add more butter and the juice of one lemon.
- Once sauce comes together, add shrimp to pan and cook thru.
- Serve with fresh steamed rice.
